While there aren't as many marquee games as last week, we have several intriguing matchups to look forward to this weekend. Saturday features four games between ranked opponents, including one top 10 game in the SEC. Additionally, 14 of the 22 ranked teams in action this weekend are playing road or neutral-site games. So this could be another weekend to be on upset alert.

October 5, 2012 The LSU Tiger football team is ranked 4th in the nation thanks in large part to their 4th ranked defense. Leading the way are defensive ends Sam Montgomery and Barkevious Mingo. The duo nag one another like an old married couple, couldn't be more different, couldn't be more close, and on the field make up the fiercest DE tandem in America. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.
While last week gave us a number of exciting games (West Virginia/Baylor shootout, Texas’ controversial last-minute touchdown to beat Oklahoma State, Nebraska’s comeback win over Wisconsin, etc.), it was lacking in marquee games between ranked teams or conference rivals. But this week will make up for it in a big way with five games between ranked teams, including not one but two Top Ten matchups in the SEC.
