Should Brees Be The Highest Paid In The NFL?

Quarterback Drew Brees has certainly helped turn around the fortunes of the New Orleans Saints.

Brees signed with the Saints prior to the 2006 season, and promptly guided them to the NFC Championship game.

Just three years later, Brees led the Saints to their first Super Bowl title.

Now in his sixth year in the Black and Gold, Brees has throw for 24,328 yards, along with 245 touchdowns, while appearing in three Pro Bowls.

This is the last year of Brees' contract with the Saints however, and as of now, the two sides remain far apart.

Grading The Saints

The New Orleans Saints ran their current win streak to three game on Sunday, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 23-10, in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Saints did only win by 13 points, but it felt as though they dominated at times, as they picked up 500+ yards of offense in the game.

The win moved to Saints to 3-1 on the year, with a road game against the Carolina Panthers scheduled on Sunday.

New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham caught 10 passes, for 132, and a touchdown, in Sunday's 23-10 Saints win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The New Orleans Saints captured their third-consecutive victory on Sunday, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 23-10, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Quarterback Drew Brees led the way for the Saints, completing 31 of 44 passes, for 351 yards, and a touchdown, while tight end Jimmy Grahama caught ten Brees passes, for 132 yards, and a touchdown.
