During that time, there have been a lot of great players, and individual performances. But, as UL co-head coach Michael Lotief talks about in this week's edition of "Coach's Corner", the program would not be where it currently is, if not for those that put the well-being of the team, first. UL Softball Opens Season In A Perfect Way
February 11, 2011 Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team opened their 2011 season on Friday, defeating Rhode Island, twice, by scores of 14-0, and 20-0, in the opening day of play in the 25th Annual Louisiana Classics Softball Tournament. To makes things even more impressive, freshmen pitchers Christina Hamilton and Shelbee Rodgers tossed back-to-back perfect games, in their collegiate debuts. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.
