Orgeron Named to USA National Team!

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team once again reached great heights during the 2012 season.

And, their offensive catalyst has once again been named to the prestigious USA National team.

Christi Orgeron, who led the nation in RBI for the second straight year, nailed down one of the final spots on the USA roster.  Previously, twelve athletes were named to the team and twenty players were invited to tryouts for the final five spots.  Orgeron was named to the 2011 team as well and helped the USA to a gold medal at the Pan American games.

Orgeron completed her Cajuns career last month and finished with the sixth highest career RBI total in NCAA history with 288.
