Minor League Manager Takes Base And Hands It To Fan – VIDEO

This is video from July 27, where manager Joe Mikulik, of the minor league Ashville Tourists, got ejected from a game and then went on to pick up third base and hand it to a fan before leaving.

Mikulik is famous for another lengthy tirade that took place back in 2006, when he went on an extended rant, pulling up the second base and throwing it into the field, throwing bats from the dugout on to the field, then finally pouring water on home plate before eventually leaving for the clubhouse.

Here, he's upset that a base runner was not called out for running out of the base line. The runner was called safe, Mikulik argues, and then gets ejected, so he kicks dirt, and then goes over and picks up third base and hands it to a fan.

"Hey I didn't get a ball at the game, but I did get this base!"
