LSU junior wide receiver D.J. Chark proved to be a playmaker in the Tigers offense in 2016.

Today, he announced on his twitter account his plan to return for his senior season.

"After long conversations with my family, and my magnificent mentor and coach (Dameyune) Craig, I have decided to return to LSU for my senior season and finish what I started," tweeted Chark. "This will allow me to not only continue to grow with a team I have created many memories with, but will also allow me to finish my undergraduate years and receive a degree from this university."

After playing sparingly in his few seasons, Chark was a major cog in the LSU offense, socring two rushing touchdowns and rushing for 122 yards on jet sweeps, while providing a persistent threat in the receiving game, hauling in three touchdowns and 466 yards on 26 receptions.
