The LSU Softball team stayed alive in the Women's College World Series, defeating the South Florida Bulls, 1-0, on Saturday, at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The Tigers cored an unearned run, the only run of the game, in the bottom half of the sixth inning, as A.J. Andrews scored on a sacrifice pop to shorstop off the bat of Allison Falcon.

Pitcher Brittany Mack was outstanding for LSU, throwing a complete-game two-hitter, while walking three, and striking out eight.

With the win, LSU improves to 4-24, while South Florida is eliminated from the WCWS, and ends their year with an overall record of 50-14.

LSU will next play undefeated Arizona St. on Saturday evening at 6 pm.
