When the #1 ranked LSU Tiger baseball team hosts Oklahoma in the Baton Rouge Super regional this weekend, they will have a regular starter back in the circle. LSU ace Cody Glenn was suspended for the NCAA Regionals last weekend for a violation of team rules.

Tigers coach Paul Mainieri put Glenn's return into the hands of his team, asking his players to vote on whether or not to reinstate Glenn. Luckily for Glenn, his teammates are giving him a second chance.

Mainieri released the following statement today on his decision: "Cody has been returned to active status on our roster, and he will be eligible to participate in the Super Regional. He delivered a sincere apology to his teammates, and they voted unanimously to have him back with us. We'll move forward with Cody as a part of our team and turn our attention toward Oklahoma."

This season, Glenn is 7-2 with a 2.41 ERA 37 strikeouts and a .234 opponent batting average in 82 innings.
