The 8th-ranked LSU Tigers conclude their three-game home stand on Saturday afternoon, when coach Les Miles' squad plays host to the Ole Miss Rebels, in SEC action at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

LSU defeated Mississippi St., 37-17, last Saturday, to move to 8-2 overall, and 4-2 in SEC play, while Ole Miss dropped a 27-26 decision to Vanderbilt last week, to fall to 5-5 overall, and 2-4 in league play.

The Tigers are led by junior quarterback Zach Mettenberger, who has completed 155-of-263 passes for 1,990 yards and ten touchdowns this year, while the Rebels are paced by junior running back Jeff Scott, who has 680 rushing yards, along with six rushing scores this year.

LSU leads the all-times series, 57-34-4, in the Magnolia Bowl, in a series that began back in 1894.

Kick-off time is scheduled for 2:35 pm.
