The LSU Tiger men's basketball team picked-up a big SEC home win on Tuesday night, defeating the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, 69-67, in overtime, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.

Mississippi St. led it 36-29 at the half, before LSU came from behind to tie the game, 58-58, at the end of regulation.

In the overtime period, LSU guard Anthony Hickey converted on a lay-up with :03 left to lift the Tigers to the tw0-point win.

The Bulldogs out-shot the Tigers from the field, 45%-42%, and also had a 42-30 rebound advantage, but LSU forced 21 turnovers, and committed only 11 themselves.

Guard Ralston Turner led the Tigers, with a game-high 17 points, while guard Dee Bost paced the Bulldogs in a losing cause, with 15.

With the win, LSU improved to 15-10 overall, and 5-6 in SEC play, while Mississippi St. fell to 19-7 overall, and 6-5 in league play.
