The LSU Tiger men's basketball team picked up an SEC home win on Saturday, defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks, 71-65, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers led at the half, 35-31, and then hung-on for the six-point win.

LSU was able to out-shoot Arkansas from the field, 42%-40%, and were also able to out-rebound the Razorbacks by a 39-31 count.

Ralston Turner led the Tigers in scoring, with 16 points, while Justin Hamilton added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

In a losing cause for the Razorbacks, Mardracus Wade had 15 points.

With the victory, LSU improved to 13-9 overall, and 3-5 in SEC play, while Arkansas fell to 16-7 overall, and 4-4 in league play.
