LSU Beats Arkansas to Advance to SEC Quarterfinals

LSU snapped a three game losing streak today, defeating Arkansas, 70-54 in the first round of the Southeastern Conference basketball tournament in New Orleans.

LSU (18-13) shot 50% from the field while holding Arkansas to under 36 percent.

Johnny O'Bryant led LSU with 18 points.

LSU will meet top-ranked Kentucky in the quarterfinals.
