LSU Baseball Wins Over Mississippi St., 3-2 – Recap

The 10th-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team captured an SEC home win on Friday night, defeating the 21st-ranked Mississippi St. Bulldogs, 3-2, in ten innings, at Alex Box Stadium, in the SEC opener for both teams.

Second JaCoby Jones delivered a walk-off single in a two-run bottom of the tenth for the Tigers.

With the win, LSU improved to 15-3 overall, and 1-0 in SEC play, while Mississippi St. dropped to 14-6 overall, and 0-1 in league play.

The two teams play on Saturday at 6 pm.
