The eighth-ranked LSU Tigers return to action in the postseason SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama on Thursday afternoon, when they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in a winners bracket game.

LSU, who defeated Vanderbilt, 11-1, on Wednesday, will head into the match-up at 41-14-1 on the season.

The Tigers, the #3-seed in the tournament, will bring a five-game win streak into the game,

Arkansas, the #7-seed, defeated Ole Miss, 2-1, on Wednesday, and will enter the contest will an overall record of 37-21.

LSU is currently hitting a .284 as a team, along with 33 home runs, 325 runs batted in, and 43 stolen bases.

The Tigers are led, offensively, by Andrew Stevenson, who is hitting a .321, and Conner Hale, who is hitting a .319..

Arkansas is currently hitting a .267 as a team, along with 26 home runs, 271 runs batted in, and 53 stolen bases. The Razorbacks are paced by Brian Anderson and Joe Serrano, who are hitting a .315 and a .300, respectively.

Pitching-wise, LSU brings brings in a 2.49 team earned run average into the game, while Arkansas is at a 2.33.

The Tigers defeated the Razorbacks in two of the three games they played against them during the regular season in an SEC series in Baton Rouge5-3 and 5-4, winning by scores of 5-3, and 5-4, while falling, 10-4.

First-pitch is scheduled for 4:30 pm.

The winner advances to play on Saturday at noon, while the loser has to play in an elimination game on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
