LSU Baseball Drops Alabama, 5-1, Completes Sweep – Recap
The third-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team completed a three-game SEC sweep of the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday, by winning 5-1, at Alex Box Stadium.
Centerfielder Arby Fields led the Tiger hitting attack, going 3-for-4, with a run scored, and two rbi’s.
Freshman right-hander Aaron Nola (5-1) got the win for LSU, while Jon Keller (1-2) suffered the loss for the Crimson Tide.
With the win, LSU improved to 30-7 overall, and 11-4 in SEC play, while Alabama dropped to 13-23 overall, and 4-11 in league play.
