LSU Baseball Defeats Arkansas, 3-2, Completes Series Sweep – Recap

The 12th-ranked LSU Tigers defeated the 3rd-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks, 3-2, in 11 innings on Sunday, to complete  a three-game , weekend, SEC series sweep at Alex Box Stadium.

Mason Katz, Raph Rhymes, and Ty Ross paced the Tigers at the plate, with two hits apiece.

Joey Bourgeois (1-1) picked up the win for LSU, while Barrett Astin (2-2) suffered the loss for the Razorbacks.

With the win, LSU improved to 22-6 overall, and 6-3 in SEC play, while Arkansas fell to 22-6 overall, and 5-4 in league play.
