The fourth-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team captured the rubber game of a three-game, weekend, SEC series on Sunday, crushing the Ole Miss Rebels, 12-3, in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Tigers broke open a 2-2 ballgame with five runs in the fourth inning, and then put things out of reach with five more runs in the sixth inning.

Second baseman Jacoby Jones, who was one of four Tigers to homer, went 3-for-5 with five RBI's on the afternoon.

Aaron Nola (6-2) got the win for LSU, while Dylan Chavez (3-4) suffered the loss for the Rebels.

With the win, LSU improved to 38-11 overall, and 16-8 in SEC play, while Ole Miss fell to 31-18 overall, and 11-13 in league play.
