LSU #4, Cajuns #26 in Latest Baseball RPI
The latest baseball RPI rankings were released today, and LSU checks in at #4 in the nation.
LSU’s spot is actually down one spot from last week, despite their sweep of Florida. The Tigers were passed by Virginia for the #3 spot.
Meanwhile, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns checked in at #26, down two spots from last week. The Cajuns were passed up by Maryland (coached by former UL assistant John Szefc) and Kansas State (where Szefc was coaching last year.)
Other Sun Belt teams include South Alabama (16), Troy (29), Middle Tennessee (49), Florida Atlantic (57), Western Kentucky (116), FIU (125), UALR (140), Arkansas State (141) and Louisiana-Monroe (104).
The Tigers play at Texas A&M (60) this weekend, while the Cajuns entertain South Alabama.
Other Louisiana schools include Southeastern La. (62), Tulane (132), Nicholls State (148), Northwestern State (209), McNeese State (220), Louisiana Tech (256), Southern (257), UNO (272) and Grambling State (282).
