University of Louisiana tight end Ladarius Green has been taken in the fourth round of the NFL draft today by the San Diego Chargers. Green becomes the second Ragin' Cajun taken in this year's draft, joining cornerback Bill Bentley who was drafted by the Detroit Lions one round earlier.

Ladarius is the seventh Ragin' Cajun selected all-time in the NFL Draft. Green, a senior tight end from Pensacola, Fla., earned first team All-Sun Belt honors last fall after catching 51 passes for 606 yards and eight touchdowns.  A December graduate with a degree in finance, he was widely considered one of the top tight ends available in the Draft.
