Kim Talon of JAN — Crush of the Day
The sexy and talented Kim Talon first caught our attention as one half of the Los Angeles-based dance punk duo Eagle and Talon. She’s now branched out and is releasing a solo album under the name JAN.
As you may very well know, we’re very fond of girls who rock, and Talon is no exception. Her music and style is loud and unique. There’s really no single way to describe her sound and independent spirit. Talon, who is no stranger to posing for provocative photos, is a true original, and that’s a big part of why we’re crushing on her today.
Her JAN album is set for a November 14 release, but you can download the first track, ‘How To Beast,’ from Diffuser.fm. The site calls the song a “pleasant Yeah Yeah Yeahs-meets-Portishead concoction” and we pretty much agree with their assessment.
