Kicker Gets His Face Crushed During Onside Kick – VIDEO

This is video of Colorado St. kicker Jared Roberts getting leveled on an onside kick by Jake Doughty of Utah St during last Saturday's game.

A personal foul penalty was called, I'm not a big fan of the penalty, but I assume the call was a helmet-to-helmet blow.

All I know is that we have a kicker, running down the field, trying to recover an onside kick, and if I'm on the receiving team, my job is to keep him away from the ball.

Doughty certainly did that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roberts is answering his phone a lot throughout the day, even when it's not ringing.
