Kentucky/Kansas Battle For National Championship – Preview
College basketball’s National Championship is on the line on Monday night when the Kentucky Wildcats take on the Kansas Jayhawks, at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Kentucky, who stands at 37-2 on the year, has won seven national titles, but hasn’t won one since 1998.
The Wildcats are led by freshman AnthonyDavis. The 6-foot-10 freshman who is averaging 14.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks in Kentucky’s 69-61 win over
Louisville in the semifinals.
Kansas, who comes in at 32-6, is led y junior forward Thomas Robinson, who is averaging 17.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.
