The Cajuns keep winning, and the individual awards keep rolling in.

Senior linebacker Lance Kelley and kicker/punter Brett Baer have been named defensive and special teams players, respectively, by the Sun Belt Conference.

Kelley led the Cajuns in tackles with eight in the win over Florida Atlantic.  He also had a tackle for loss and an interception.  The tackle for loss came with FAU playing third and three from the Cajuns seven, forcing them to settle for a field goal.

Baer kicked three field goals, including the game winner as time expired.

He scored 13 points overall.  It was the first time the Cajuns had won a game in the final ten seconds of a game since 2003 (Sean Comiskey).  Baer also averaged 40 yards per punt on four kicks.  Baer leads the SBC in scoring.
