Former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun, and current Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy was a guest on "High Heat" with Christopher Russo, the MLB Network on Monday.

A native of Eustis, Florida, Lucroy was drafted by Milwaukee in the 3rd round of the 2007 amateur entry draft, 101st overall, after a stellar three-year career at UL, one in which he set the school record for doubles (54), runs batted in (184), total bases (414) and hits (241) in just three seasons.

The 28-year old Lucroy, who was an MLB All-Star catcher in 2014 for the Brewers, hit a .301, to go along with 13 home runs, and 69 runs batted in, while finishing fourth in the National League Most Valuable Player voting.

Lucroy talked about his upcoming visit to Washington, D.C., his charitable work, and of course, baseball.

"High Heat" airs weekdays, from 11 am-noon (central), on the MLB Network.
