Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy is expected to miss 4-6 weekswith a hamstring strain.

A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun standout, Lucroy was named to the National League All-Star team, and finished fourth in the NL Most Valuable Player Award voting in 2014, after hitting a .301, to go along with 13 home runs, and 69 runs batted in.

The Brewers are hopeful that the 28-year old Lucroy will be ready for opening day.
