The 2015 high school football season will unofficially kickoff this evening, with jamboree action in two different Acadiana parishes.

In Lafayette, the first night of the Kiwanis Jamboree will feature 10 schools playing at two different sites.

At Clark Field, Comeaux will tangle with LaGrange at 6 o'clock, followed by a match-up between Carencro and St. Martinville (That matchup can be heard on ESPN1420)

At Cajun Field, Lafayette Christian and Opelousas Catholic will square off at 6 pm, with Teurlings Catholic taking on South Lafourche at approximately 7:15 pm, and then Notre Dame battling St. Thomas More in the nightcap.

The Acadia Parish Jamboree also takes place this evening, with two games at Gardiner Memorial Stadium in Crowley.

Church Point faces Iota at 6:30 pm, with the host school, Crowley, meeting Rayne in the finale at approximately 8 o'clock.
