The Houston Astros may have the worst record in baseball, but like every Major League Baseball team, they have a bright spot, or two.

In the Astros' case, that birght spot is rookie left-fielder J.D. Martinez, who is hitting a .295, with five homers, and 39 RBI's, in his first taste of the big leagues.

Martinez however, wasn't expected to be this good, this fast.

He was playing Division II college ball only two years ago, and wasn't selected until round 20 in the Major league Baseball Draft.
