In Alabama, “Roll Tide” Has A Whole Different Meaning

Since devastating tornadoes did incredible damage to Alabama back in late April, the Associated Press reports, courtesy of foxsports.com, that the term “Roll Tide” has taken on a much different meaning in the state.

This is really what sports is all about, sometimes. It’s an opportunity for everyone to come together, with sports as something for them to rally around, and also use it as an escape.

It’s also an opportunity for sports to give back, and both the Alabama, and Auburn football programs, are doing that.

My best to the people of the great state of Alabama.
