Hitter Showboats Too Early – VIDEO

Check out this video of a baseball player who showboats just a little too soon, and then has to head back to the dugout just a little bit more than humble.

The hitter hits what he thinks is a home run. I mean, he thinks that immediately after he hits the pitch, as he flips his bat away. To make things even more embarrassing, the hitter points toward the dugout, seemingly telling his teammates; "Yeah, that's right...I crushed that one."

The problem is that he didn't get as much of it as he thought. The opposing left fielder made the catch, and the hitter then gets a consolation pat on the back from the opposing first baseman.
