Former Pittsburgh defensive end Greg Romeus, and former Illinois linebacker Nate Bussey were both selected in the seventh round on the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.  Both players are expected to bring the extra element of "character" to the team. After a wait of 138 picks, the New Orleans Saints selected two defensive players in the seventh round Saturday to complete a draft that seemed to address the team's most pressing needs and that received widespread acclaim from analysts.

And although the players chosen with the 226th and 243rd selections often face a tough road, the newest Saints made it clear that in at least one respect -- that of character -- Saints executives are serious when they insist that a man's attitude and approach to life matter to them.
