Great Baseball Trick Play – VIDEO
May 29, 2012 6:45 PM This is video of a great trick play from a high school baseball game.
Delano High School pitcher Davy Aguilar fakes a pick-off throw to second base. As soon as he does so, the shortstop and second baseman rush over, as if to to cover a potential throw to the bag, a throw which never takes place.
Everyone of his teammates reacts as if the ball goes into the outfield. Notice the centerfielder and right-fielder chase the imaginary ball into right-centerfield.
With the pitcher himself still holding the ball in his glove, the runner on third base takes off for home and gets throw out at the plate.
