Garry Brodhead, who coached at Teurlings Catholic for ten years, accumulating nine district championships, and one state title, was named head coach of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team on Monday.

Brodhead, who most recently served as the associate head coach at McNeese St. for the last five years, becomes the 12th head coach in program history, and replaces Errol Rogers, who was the coach for the previous five years.

While at McNeese St., Brodhead helped guide the Cowgirls to a 52-15 record over the last two seasons, including a pair of Southland Conference titles and appearances in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship.
