Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will try to get a little payback from an earlier loss to North Texas, when they host the Mean Green in a Sun Belt Conference game.

Tipoff is at 7:05.  Pregame on espn1420, Hot 107.9 and the Ragin Cajun Radio Network begins at 635pm.

Louisiana (5-14, 2-5 Sun Belt) was beaten soundly by the Mean Green at the Super Pit on New Year's afternoon, 80-63, and did it without leading rebounder George Odufuwa, who was sidelined with an ankle sprain.

If the Cajuns are to have a shot, they'll have to get contributions from players who didn't perform well in the previous game.  Outside of Josh Brown and Bryant Mbamalu, the Cajuns got very little from their offense in Denton.

Freshman J. J. Thomas, who was 0-9 from the field against UNT in the first meeting, has been the hottest Ragin Cajun of late.  Thomas has been in double figures in scoring the last four games, and double figures in rebounding in three of the last four.  He's the LSWA Player of the Week this past week.

Randell Daigle needs just four points to become the 39th player in Cajuns history to reach the 1,000 point plateau in a career.
