Ragin' Cajun Wide Receiver Gabe Fuselier is going to be heavily involved this season, and not just on the offensive side of the ball.

Fuselier is somewhat of a football chameleon. Jet sweeps, slant routes, bubble screens...anything that gets him the ball in space typically leads to plays being made. When a player shows touchdown potential on any play, you find ways to get him the ball. What's the best way to get a player some space to move around? Have them return kicks and punts.

Fuselier, along with fellow gadget receiver Al Riles, will be utilized in the kick game this year. Offensive duties are nice, but sometimes you have to step back in the endzone, catch a ball, and take it to the house.

Throughout camp and practice, Fuselier and Riles appear to be the pick. If freshman speedster Gary Haynes can throw his hat in the ring back there with Running Back Darius Hoggins, things should get interesting in the return game for the Cajuns.

Even track-star Jeryl Brazil fielded kickoffs in Tuesday's walkthrough. With his elite speed, all it would take is a slight crease to create daylight. His devotion and adjustment to football is still yet to be seen though.

Simply put, Gabe Fuselier fans rejoice. The freshman, who was a local favorite in high school, quickly became a favorite at Cajun Field after scoring against the ULM Warhawks and going on a bit of a hot streak in his inaugural season. What else does he have up his sleeve? Maybe a 100 yard touchdown return? It looks like Mark Hudspeth is going to give him that chance.
