Former Saints DB Tracy Porter Arrested On Battery & Drug Charges
Former New Orleans Saints defensive back and fan favorite Tracy Porter was arrested in Baton Rouge today, according to Jeremy Krail of WBRZ.
Porter, who is best known by Saints fans for a Super Bowl XLIV clinching interception off Peyton Manning and an NFC Championship game overtime forcing pick of Brett Favre, was arrested for battery and drug charges.
According to the police report, Porter got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend last Wednesday, forcing her against a vehicle and grabbing her arm and throat.
Cops were called to the scene, finding an ounce of marijuana and Acetaminophen pills, for which Porter admitted he did not have a prescription for.
