The 7-foot-1, 290-pound Robinson played three seasons at LSU, from 2014-2017, after playing his high school basketball at Lakeview Centennial (Texas).

Robinson played in 11 games as a freshman, including four starts, averaging 0.5 points and 1.5 rebounds-per-game.

In his sophomore campaign, Robinson appeared in 23 games, including seven as a starter, while averaging 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds.
