Former Ragin' Cajun linebacker Justin Anderson has signed with the New York Giants practice squad, keeping his NFL career alive and well.

New York signed Anderson as an undrafted free agent last May.

He spent training camp and all of the preseason with the Giants before being waived during their final cuts.

In four preseason games, Anderson registered five tackles and one forced fumble.

Last  year as a senior, Anderson led the Cajuns in tackles with 131, earning first-team All-Sun Belt conference honors. He started in three straight New Orleans Bowls for Louisiana.
