Drew Brees is having a MVP-like 2011 NFL season.
Brees has thrown for 2,780 yards this season, and needs 305 yards to reach 5,085 passing yards and eclipse the record Dan Marino set in 1984.
Since a loss to the Rams in week 8, Brees has completed about 73% of his passes, for an average of 339 yards a game, while throwing 18 touchdowns and only one interception.
Last Sunday, against the Minnesota Vikings, Brees has another record-setting passing day, completing 32 of 40 passes for 412 yards and five touchdowns.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may very-well win the MVP, but you can make a strong case for Brees.
