The Lafayette, La. NCAA Softball Regional gets underway on Friday at Lamson Park with two games on the schedule.

The regional is a double-elimination format, with the finals scheduled for Sunday.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team, the #13-overall national seed, is the top-seed in the tournament, followed by the Baylor Bears, the Mississippi Bulldogs, and the Weber St. Wildcats.
