There are going to be plenty of prognostications as the 2016 Football Season approaches.  And, each publication will have its own opinion.

If you're a Cajuns' fan, you'll probably like what Colllege Football News has to say.

They think the Cajuns will wind up with an 8-4 record and will tie for the Sun Belt Conference championship.

That'll come as music to the ears of Cajuns' fans, who suffered through a 4-8 season a year ago.

CFN suggests 2015 was just a blip on the radar screen and the Cajuns will be back bowling at the end of the season.

It's an ambitious prediction, however, as CFN has the Cajuns getting wins over both Appalachian State and Arkansas State.  Both of those games are scheduled for Cajun Field.  The only conference loss is predicted to be at Georgia Southern in November.

CFN says the Cajuns will suffer one home loss, that being in the season opener against Boise State.  The other prediction losses are at Georgia and at Tulane.
