Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James left it all on the floor Sunday night in game 2 of the NBA Finals, pouring in a triple-double to lead the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers to a 95-93 overtime road win against the Golden State Warriors, evening the best-of-seven series 1-1.

With All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving and All-Star power forward Kevin Love in the Cavaliers lineup due to injuries, James played a game-high 50 points, finishing with 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists, helping the Cavs win their first NBA Finals game in franchise history.

"Everything. It took everything," said James when asked what it took to win game 2. "It was a team effort and it took everything."

James wasn't overselling in his statement. Prior to Sunday night, the Warriors had played 50 games at their home in Oracle Arena during the regular and postseason and won 47 times. In many of those wins, their best player led the way, but that wasn't the case in game 2.

Current MVP Steph Curry struggled for the Warriors, shooting 5-23 from the field, struggling to score against scrappy Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova.

In the half-court offense, Curry shot 0-8 when guarded by Dellavedova.

"He played hard, as we expected him to," said Curry. "We've got to play better, move past this game, and keep playing with confidence."

With the series tied 1-1, the Finals now shifts to Cleveland for game 3 on Tuesday.

"Dealing with the emotions of it, the highs and lows of this game, you just try to leave it on the floor," said Curry. "We know it's a long series and we can come back in game 3 and take control of the series right back."

Tip-off Tuesday night from Cleveland is set for 8:08.
