Caution: Plaxico Burress

There are a number of NFL teams that are rumored to have interest in receiver Plaxico Burress, who is scheduled to be released from a correctional facility in the state of New York, next week. Ian O'Connor of ESPNNewYork.com, advises those teams to proceed, with caution.

Off-the-field issues to the side, Burress is 34 years of age, hasn't played since 2008, and hasn't caught more than 35 passed in a season since 2007.

Sure, a team will take a shot on him, but Burress is unlikely to be a a major contributor, on any team.
