The Porcubimmer racing team has built a real-life version of Homer Simpson's dream car (and failed attempt at auto design), The Homer. The car will race at the Buttonwillow Raceway in California this weekend in the 24 Hours of LeMons race -- an endurance race for cars that cost less than $500.

It turns out when you're trying to be a champion, you don't always have time to try to look cool. Sometimes you just have to do what it takes and hope that later the awesomeness of being champion will erase any embarrassing moments from memory.

We're all entitled to our own opinions, but food is arguably the best part of any holiday. See, eating our way through this sort of celebration is an automatic win-win-- we're happy, our stomach's are happy, everyone's happy.

Maybe you live someplace where fireworks are illegal. Maybe secretly every time you hear some go off you are momentarily terrified that somebody on a neighboring block has just been shot to death. Maybe both (Brooklyn, rep!).

Dogs rule for so many reasons. For starters, they wear pantyhose, and they're adorable even when they're ugly. Aww, come on now.

Raise your hand if you love summer. We're assuming there was just a collective "aww yeah!" among you, because seriously-- who doesn't enjoy lemonade and Slip N' Slides and hanging your head out the window? But we can't forget the tastiest way to celebrate the season-- ice cream. And lots of it.

Today marks the official kick off to summer, which means pool season is in full swing. Few things are better than cannonballing into a pool when it's hot and sticky outside, and we've found a group of pups who seem to agree.

We already know pups are super talented, especially when it comes to things like getting all "derpy" in photos or wearing pantyhose. You know-- the usual. But, like us, you might've been totally oblivious to the fact that dogs are also really into the surfing scene.

Reading is great for kids. Reading to animals is great for everyone.

To be clear, we do not take delight in the misfortune of these poor animals. We are merely taking delight in HOW CUTE THEIR LITTLE CASTS ARE! Agh! Give in and take a look. We pretty much guarantee you will be cheered up. And who doesn't need cheering up on a Monday?

We're not here to tell you how to run your life. We're mostly just here to provide you with cute pictures of kittens and GIFs you might like. But, if we could make a suggestion, don't get your dad any of these things for Father's Day.

We don't know what the weather's like where you are, but it is a chilly, grey, rainy Monday here, so we need this. In fact, even if it's totally gorgeous where you are, these pictures and GIFs of animal best buds is probably worth a look. First of all, they're really cute. Secondly, they'll probably cheer you up. Last, why wouldn't you want to see a seal cuddling a penguin?! Enjoy!

Welcome, foolish mortals! If you're anything like us, then no trip to Disneyland (or Disney World) is complete without at least one visit to the Haunted Mansion. The Mansion's 999 happy haunts have been scaring and delighting park guests since 1969.

If you're not taking advantage of your baby's pliability and lack of motor control skills to pose them for silly photographs, frankly we don't understand why you even had kids. If for no other reason than to post a picture of your kid to Facebook every once in a while that is actually entertaining, instead of just sharing "the magic" of a 10-month-old eating pie. Of course they like it -

Recently we've been discussing the best things about summer, like Slip N' Slides and lemonade. OH yes. But with the good obviously comes the bad, and in this case, the really bad. Brace yourself folks, because we've scoped out some pretty awful sunburn fails we never want to experience. Oof.
