Cam Jordan Sends Cam Newton a Fitting Playoff Departure Gift

Cameron Jordan was his disruptive self on Sunday for the Saints in their third victory of the season over the Carolina Panthers. For Jordan there was no love lost between him and the Panthers Cam, Cam Newton.

Earlier in the year Jordan was heard making fun of Newton's post-game wardrobe choice and honestly, can you blame him?

In response to that Newton said the he would be sending Jordan some sauce. Not sure if he was talking about some Carolina BBQ sauce or what because I'll tell ya Cam Jordan wouldn't be caught dead wearing some of the stuff Newton puts on.

After the game Sunday, Jordan was so inclined to send Newton a gift, and it was a seemingly perfect fit as he and the Panthers were eliminated from the playoffs.....

A lovely bottle of "Jordan" wine for Newton and the Panthers as they wine their way to the off-season. Perfect.

The Saints broke out the broom on Sunday after completing the series sweep of the Carolina Panthers. However, the hope now is that karma won't come back to bite them as they travel to Minnesota trying to avenge an early season loss to the Vikings.

The last time the Saints played the Vikings in the playoffs the defense was beating up Brett Favre, forcing a late interception, and eventually won in OT on a Garrett Hartley 40 yard field goal, 31-28.

The game is set for next Sunday at 3:40pm at U.S. Bank Stadium.
