Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns return home to Lamson Park Wednesday afternoon when they host the Houston Cougars in a 4pm doubleheader.

The Cajuns (30-11) will be playing their final non-conference games of the season.

Both teams come into today's doubleheader on a roll.

The Cajuns have won 12 straight.  The Cougars (29-12) have won ten of their last twelve.

The Cougars are coached by Louisiana Sports Hall of Famer Kyla Hall Holas.  And, that has prompted the Cajuns to issue an invitation to all alumni to make it to the doubleheader and be recognized.

While, because it is a weekday, it might be difficult for alumni can make it. Coach Michael Lotief has decided to make it a day to honor them and have them come onto the field and be recognized.

In addition, the founder of the program, former head coach Yvette Girouard will be on hand for the first time since she brought her LSU team in 2002.  She'll throw out the first pitch.

Girouard started the program from scratch and built the Lady Cajuns, as they were then known, into a national power with three College World Series appearances (1993, 1995, 1996).  She then coached at LSU until her retirement after the 2011 season.
