Cajuns’ Swain Named LSWA Player of the Week

Ragin' Cajun newcomer Troi Swain has been named women's basketball Player of the Week by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Swain, a junior college transfer from Round Rock, TX, had back to back big games against Southeastern Louisiana and Louisiana Tech, with 23 points in each contest.  She shot 16 of 28 from the field and 9-19 from three point range in the two victories.  She also had five rebounds, six assists and four steals during the two games.

The Cajuns (6-3) open up league play Thursday night at Little Rock.
