Cajuns Slip a Notch in Polls, LSU Rises

A 2-2 week saw the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns slip a notch in three of the major polls this week.

The Cajuns are now ranked 10th in the Perfect Game poll, 16th in D1Baseball and 15th in Baseball America.  That's a drop of one position in each poll.

LSU's sweep of Georgia helped LSU this week.  They remained #6 in Perfect Game, but rose from #7 to #5 in D1Baseball and from #6 to #4 in Baseball America.

Coastal Carolina, the defending national champion playing in the Sun Belt for the first times, dropped out of the polls after losing a series at Texas State.

Both Perfect Game and Baseball America have Louisville at the top of their polls, while D1Baseball has tabbed Oregon State at #1.

It's a busy week for the Cajuns this week as they entertain Houston on Tuesday and Tulane on Wednesday before heading to Troy for a three game series this weekend.
