Cajuns Ranked #13 by Perfect Game

The second of the pre-season polls are out and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are getting more preseason love

The Cajuns, who hosted a regional a year ago en route to a 42-23 record, are ranked #13 in the preseason poll by Perfect Game (perfectgame.org).

TCU is ranked preseason #1.  LSU is #2.  Other Cajun opponents in the Top 25 include #17 Texas, #20 Houston and 2016 National Champion Coastal Carolina, ranked #24.  Sam Houston State was one of five schools given consideration.

The SEC and ACC each had five schools in the Top 25, while the Pac-12 placed four and the Big 12 three.  The Sun Belt, American and Big West had two representatives each, while Conference USA and the Big Ten had one.

The Cajuns open their 2017 season February 17 at Southeastern Louisiana.
