Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday, when coach Mark Hudspeth’s squad travels to Athens, Georgia to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in a non-conference match-up.

The game, which will mark the fifth of six road games for UL, will also serve as their final non-conference affair.

The Cajun Harley Davidson Tailgate show, begins at 9 am on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, with the rest of the network, including Hot 107.9 and 1079ishot.com, joining the broadcast at 10 am.

Kickoff time at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia is set for 11 am.

Georgia leads the all-time series, 1-0, capturing a 55-7 win over Louisiana back in 2010, in the only other previous meeting.

Louisiana defeated Georgia Southern last week, 33-26, to drop them to improve to 4-5, overall, and 3-3 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Offensively, the Cajuns are averaging 23.4 points-per-game, to go along with 377.1 total yards, including 178.1 rushing yards, and 199.0 passing yards, while allowing 27.1 points, and 375.4 total yards, including 118.3 rushing yards, and 257.1 passing yards.

Louisiana is led by senior quarterback Anthony Jennings, who has completed 156-of-250 passes for 1,652 yards and nine touchdowns, and senior running back Elijah McGuire, who has rushed for 762 yards and six touchdowns.

Georgia, who beat Auburn, 13-7, last week, will enter the match-up at 6-4, overall, and 4-4 in SEC play.

Offensively, the Bulldogs are averaging 22.6 points-per-game, to go along with 378.7 total yards, including 174.0 rushing yards, and 204.7 passing yards a contest, while allowing 24.0 points, to go along with 308.1 total yards, including 119.1 rushing yards, and 189.0 passing yards.

Georgia is paced by freshman quarterback Jacob Eason, who has completed 165-of-303 passes for 1,962 yards and 11 touchdowns, while rushing for another 462 yards and four scores, and junior running back Nick Chubb, who has rushed for 838 yards and five touchdowns.

The Cajuns return home, and return to Sun Belt Conference play on Saturday, November 26, when they host Arkansas St. in their home finale.
