The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns took a couple of losses Wednesday night, but there's no time to fret about it.

Because the Jaguars are coming to town.

The Cajuns' biggest baseball rival, South Alabama comes to M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park for a big three game Sun Belt Conference series this weekend.

Game times are 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday and 1:00 pm on Sunday.  All games can be heard on 96.5 KPEL-FM.

The pitching matchups for the weekend are:

FRIDAY--Louisiana LHP Gunner Leger (4-1, 1.23) vs. South Alabama RHP Randy Bell (1-2, 3.00)

SATURDAY--Louisiana RHP Nick Lee (4-2, 4.40) vs. South Alabama LHP Thomas Huston (2-1, 2.78)

SUNDAY--Louisiana LHP Hogan Harris (2-0, 0.84) vs. South Alabama RHP Tyler Carr (2-0, 3.91)

South Alabama 15-10, 5-1 Sun Belt) had a five game winning streak snapped Tuesday night against Southern Mississippi.  The Cajuns (14-11, 4-2) trail the all time series 61-45, but have a 42-40 edge since Tony Robichaux became the Louisiana head coach in 1995.  South Alabama head coach Mark Calvi is 7-11 against the Cajuns.

USA leads the league in hitting (.300) and fielding percentage (.980).  The Cajuns lead the league in pitching (3.30 ERA).
